Great place to learn and grow in the dairy industry
Pros: I've found FrieslandCampina to be an excellent place for professional development, especially as a Supply Chain Analyst. There are many learning opportunities and projects that broaden skills in logistics and operations within the dairy industry. The company culture is collaborative, with supportive colleagues. It's a stable multinational cooperative, offering great job security and a healthy work-life balance with our hybrid setup in Amersfoort, Netherlands.
Cons: While there's definitely career growth, the promotion process can feel a bit slow or bureaucratic. Implementing new ideas can take time due to a focus on established processes. Also, communication between some departments could be smoother sometimes. These are minor, but noticeable.
Advice to Management: Continue to streamline internal approval processes and empower teams with more autonomy to drive innovation. Invest further in cross-departmental communication initiatives to ensure everyone's aligned.

Solid Career Growth and Learning Opportunities in Dairy
Pros: I've really valued my experience as a Junior Product Manager at FrieslandCampina in Amersfoort. As a large player in the food and beverage industry, particularly dairy, there are excellent learning opportunities. My colleagues are very supportive, and I've gained valuable experience in a stable, global company. The hybrid work setup is also a big plus, offering good work-life balance while developing my career path.
Cons: The main drawback is that things can feel a bit slow sometimes due to the size of the organization. Some internal approval processes are quite bureaucratic, which can impact project timelines. While there's a clear career path, upward mobility isn't always the fastest, especially for junior roles.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining some of the internal approval processes to increase agility. Also, transparent communication around career progression paths for junior employees could be improved.
