Pros: The base salary for a Software Engineer is solid, especially for a startup. They do offer equity, which is a nice perk for a growing company in the legal tech space. Even working remotely, the pay feels fair for the role.
Cons: The benefits package itself is pretty lean; not much beyond the basics. Health insurance options aren't great, and there isn't much in terms of a 401k match or other significant perks. Compared to other tech startups in London, the overall compensation package isn't super compelling.
Advice to Management: Seriously look at enhancing the benefits package. Better health plans or a stronger retirement contribution would make a huge difference in attracting and retaining talent, especially for tech roles.
