Growth is okay but you need to push for it
Pros: As an IT Consultant, I got to work on varied projects across different industries. It's a solid way to build a diverse technical skill set, especially within a big corporate environment like NTT DATA. There are internal learning platforms, which is good for self-starters.
Cons: Career growth can feel slow if you don't actively seek out opportunities. Promotion paths aren't always super clear, especially for consulting roles in the Singapore office. Sometimes it feels like you're stuck in a holding pattern unless you network hard internally.
Advice to Management: Management should create more transparent career development frameworks and clearer promotion criteria. Investing in mentorship programs could also really help employees navigate their career paths better.
