Logistics Consultant
2.9
7 February 2026
Alcott Global culture is decent, a bit cliquey.
Pros: The best part is definitely the team. My colleagues as a Logistics Consultant were generally supportive and always ready to help. There are decent team events in the Singapore office, which helps with bonding outside of projects for this executive search firm.
Cons: The culture can feel pretty cliquey sometimes. It's tough to break into established groups if you're new or in a different department. Internal communication isn't always clear, especially in our hybrid setup, which can lead to confusion on project priorities in the supply chain industry.
Advice to Management: Focus on fostering a more inclusive environment across all teams. Encourage cross-departmental collaboration and clearer communication channels, especially with the hybrid work model. It would help new hires integrate better into the mid-sized firm culture.

Recruitment Consultant

Okay start but limited growth for consultants
Pros: As a Recruitment Consultant, I got solid training when I started. It's a good place to learn the ropes in executive search, especially within the logistics recruitment sector. The team in the Singapore office is generally supportive, which is a big plus.
Cons: Career growth here feels pretty flat after the initial consultant phase. There aren't many clear paths for advancement, and internal promotions are rare. You're mostly just expected to hit targets, and that's it.
Advice to Management: Consider creating clearer progression paths for Recruitment Consultant roles beyond just hitting sales targets. Investing in leadership training for managers to focus on long-term employee development, not just immediate revenue, would really help with retention.
