Pros: Working remotely is a big plus here. My WFH setup is decent, and I appreciate not having a commute daily. The team is generally understanding if you need flexibility for appointments, which helps a lot with personal stuff.
Cons: As a Software Engineer in this fast-paced startup, the expectations can be really high. It's common to work more than 40 hours, especially on big projects in cryptocurrency mining. There's not always a clear line between work and personal time, and sometimes I feel like I'm always 'on' for blockchain technology issues.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries for project deadlines and encourage teams to truly disconnect after hours. Burnout is a real concern in this industry.

Pros: I like that it's a dynamic crypto mining company. You get to work on exciting stuff in the blockchain industry. Everyone on my team, as a blockchain developer, is pretty sharp and collaborative, even being remote from Toronto.
Cons: The company culture is pretty chaotic. There's not a lot of clear direction, typical for a fast-paced startup. It can feel like we're just reacting a lot of the time.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer expectations and build more consistent processes. Better communication would help a lot with the overall company culture.
