Pros: They do allow for some hybrid work, which is nice for a few days a week after the probation period. Sometimes, if you've got system maintenance to do off-hours, you can adjust your start time the next day. This helps as a System Administrator.
Cons: True remote work isn't really an option unless it's an emergency. Core hours are pretty strict, making it tough to schedule personal appointments without using PTO. It's not the most flexible setup for those looking for full WFH.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more flexibility for IT roles, especially for experienced staff. Allowing full remote options or more lenient core hours would really boost morale and attraction for talent in the Singapore office.
