Decent place for credit research, but expect to be onsite
Pros: You'll learn a ton about the financial services industry, especially for credit research roles. The team in the New York City office is really sharp and helpful. There's some basic hybrid option, like one WFH day, which is better than nothing.
Cons: True work flexibility isn't really a thing here. They expect you in the office most days for Credit Analyst roles. It's tough to get approval for more remote work, which can make work-life balance a bit tricky.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more flexible remote work options for experienced financial analysts. It would really help with retention and overall employee satisfaction, especially in a competitive market like New York City.

Decent pay for a finance gig
Pros: As an Associate Credit Analyst, the base salary here is pretty competitive for early career roles in investment research. The health benefits package, including dental and vision, is actually quite good compared to other mid-sized finance firms. They cover a good chunk.
Cons: Bonuses aren't as strong as I've seen at bigger banks, which stings a bit when you're working long hours in the New York City office. Retirement matching isn't great, and there isn't much in terms of unique perks beyond the standard stuff. It feels a little behind.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the bonus structure and consider enhancing the 401k match to stay competitive with other financial services firms. It would help with retention.
