Hybrid model works, mostly. Could be better.
Pros: I've gotta say, the hybrid work setup is a solid perk. As a Data Scientist, I really appreciated the option to split my time between the Potsdam, Germany office and home. It makes a big difference for personal appointments and avoiding rush hour.
Cons: But sometimes, the 'flexibility' feels a bit rigid. True remote work days are fixed, not truly fluid, which can be tough. And for us working on digital health projects, collaboration tools could use an upgrade to really support that hybrid vibe.
Advice to Management: Consider making remote days more truly fluid rather than fixed, especially for experienced health tech roles. Investing in better collaboration tools would really help unify the hybrid workforce.

Decent work-life balance for a health tech startup
Pros: The company really embraces a hybrid model, which is a huge plus for work flexibility. As a Data Scientist, I find that project deadlines are usually pretty realistic. My team in the Berlin office respects personal time, which is key.
Cons: Sometimes there are urgent issues, especially concerning patient data, that pop up. This can lead to unexpected late nights or weekend work. The pay for healthcare tech roles isn't always top-tier compared to other tech companies.
Advice to Management: Try to better staff for critical on-call rotations to avoid burnout from unexpected patient data emergencies. Consider reviewing compensation bands to stay competitive within the digital health sector.
