Pros: I've really appreciated the focus on learning and development. There are great opportunities to pick up new skills and work with different technologies, which is good for career growth. Colleagues are supportive and the remote work setup offers a decent work-life balance.
Cons: Sometimes, approval processes feel a bit slow. A clearer path for promotions for software engineers would also be beneficial.
Advice to Management: Streamline internal approval processes and provide more transparent career progression frameworks for engineers.

Pros: Some of the direct managers are genuinely supportive, which is nice as a Software Engineer. We have a pretty good hybrid setup too, working from the Austin, TX office a few days a week.
Cons: Higher-ups often lack clear vision for new product development, it feels like we're constantly pivoting. There's also some favoritism in who gets the cooler projects, which is frustrating in a corporate environment like this.
Advice to Management: Work on consistent communication from senior leadership regarding long-term goals for software engineering teams. Also, ensure fair project distribution across all developers, not just a select few.
