Growth is what you make it at this startup
Pros: As a Marketing Specialist, I got to try a lot of different things. It's good for learning quickly in the tech startup environment. You're involved in social media marketing campaigns end-to-end, which is solid experience for the app industry.
Cons: Career growth here isn't really structured. There's no clear path for marketing roles. You often have to create your own opportunities if you want to move up. Formal training or development programs are pretty much non-existent in the Singapore office.
Advice to Management: Try to create clearer growth paths for non-engineering roles. Investing in some mentorship or development programs would really help staff feel more supported.

FriendzoneSG has a pretty chill vibe
Pros: The company culture at FriendzoneSG is genuinely friendly. We have a lot of team bonding events, which is great for new hires in the Singapore office. As a Software Engineer, I've always felt supported by my peers in this startup environment.
Cons: Sometimes the communication from leadership isn't super clear, especially when things change fast. It can feel like we're always scrambling to meet new app development deadlines, which makes work-life balance tough. The rapid growth means things aren't always super organized.
Advice to Management: Try to improve internal communication, especially regarding project roadmap changes for the engineering team. More clarity would really help everyone.

Typical startup culture, good and bad
Pros: The team here is pretty tight-knit. As a Community Manager, I really liked the collaborative environment. Everyone's generally willing to help out, and it feels like a modern startup in the social networking industry.
Cons: The company culture can be pretty disorganized. There isn't much clear direction from leadership, which makes things feel chaotic. For app development roles, you might struggle with a lack of defined processes.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more structure and clearer goals for your teams. Investing in employee development would really help with retention in this competitive market.
