Okay flexibility for recruitment roles, hybrid is key
Pros: I appreciate the hybrid work option. Being able to work from home a couple of days a week really helps with the commute in New York City. It HUH?s a solid setup for recruitment consultants.
Cons: However, the core hours are pretty strict. It's not great if you need to step out for personal stuff during the day. True remote work isn't really an option, even for experienced client-facing roles.
Advice to Management: Consider allowing more flexibility within core hours. This would make a huge difference for employee well-being, especially for our recruitment consultants.

Leadership has room to grow, honestly
Pros: I had a couple of really solid direct managers during my time as a Technical Recruiter. They genuinely cared about my development in the recruitment industry and helped me hit my numbers. The hybrid work model in the NYC office was also a big plus.
Cons: Leadership is pretty inconsistent across different teams. You don't always get clear direction from senior management. It often felt like there wasn't a unified strategy, which made things tough.
Advice to Management: Invest in leadership training for all managers, especially around communication and vision setting. Make sure there's a clear, consistent strategy across all recruitment teams.

Decent Earning Potential for Recruitment Consultants
Pros: The base salary for a Recruitment Consultant is pretty decent, which is a good foundation. There's real potential to earn significant commission if you consistently hit your targets, especially in the competitive London, UK market. Pay here is definitely tied directly to your sales performance.
Cons: The benefits package isn't anything to write home about; you get basic health insurance and not much else. Don't count on big bonuses outside of your commission, as that's where most of the extra money comes from. For the demanding nature of recruitment industry roles, you'd expect a bit more.
Advice to Management: Consider enhancing the overall benefits package. Offering more comprehensive health coverage or other perks would help attract and retain top talent in such a competitive recruitment industry.
