Pros: The company does try to support a decent work-life balance for field sales roles. I've found my schedule is mostly flexible, which helps manage appointments and personal life. The Singapore office culture encourages some boundaries, which is good.
Cons: However, it's the wine and spirits industry, so there are always evening events and client dinners. This means occasional longer hours, sometimes 50+ hour weeks, especially during peak seasons or product launches. It can be tough to disconnect fully.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage the evening event load for Sales Representatives. Maybe rotate duties more often so we aren't always working late and can maintain a better personal life.

Pros: I liked the team I worked with; everyone was pretty supportive. We had regular team events and tastings, which was a nice perk for a sales associate. It's a stable company in the premium wines and spirits distribution sector here in Singapore.
Cons: The company culture here felt a bit old-school, not very flexible. Decisions often took a long time to get made. There's not much push for new ideas from junior staff, which can be frustrating.
Advice to Management: Management should really consider fostering a more open environment for new ideas. Encourage innovation, especially from the younger sales associate team. Update some of those older policies to improve work flexibility.
