Great Hybrid Work & Learning Opportunities
Pros: I've enjoyed my time as a Software Engineer. The supportive team and learning opportunities in the tech solutions industry are fantastic. The hybrid work setup really helps with work-life balance and offers good flexibility. It's a stable company with a collaborative culture.
Cons: Promotion paths can feel a bit slower than at some other tech companies. Also, some internal processes for approvals could be more efficient, but it's usually manageable.

Good for a start, but growth stagnates
Pros: For junior developers, it's a solid place to learn new tech in a big tech environment. You get to work on decent projects if you're new to the San Francisco, CA tech scene. Remote work options are okay.
Cons: Career progression is a big issue; there's no real path for a senior software engineer. Promotions are rare, and internal mobility is practically nonexistent. It feels like you're stuck after a couple of years.
Advice to Management: Create clear career ladders for all engineering roles. Invest in internal training and mentorship programs to keep talent.

Hybrid work is okay, could be better
Pros: I do like the hybrid model for engineering roles. It's good to not be in the Seattle office five days a week. Getting a couple of WFH days helps with that commute big time.
Cons: Beyond the set hybrid schedule, there's not much real flexibility. Getting extra WFH days can be tough depending on your manager. For a tech company, I expected more robust remote work options.
Advice to Management: Standardize the remote work policies across all teams. Empower managers to truly support flexibility, not just stick to a rigid hybrid schedule.
