Established in 1986, NTUC Club is the leisure and entertainment arm of National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). As part of the Labour Movement, we are committed to the social mission of providing affordable recreational experiences of choice for our members, guided by our core values of care, passion, trust and service.

Our key properties include NTUC Club @ SingPost Centre, and Downtown East, a lifestyle destination which caters to union members, youths, working professionals and their families, by bringing exciting activities and fun experiences under one roof. In 2018, NTUC Club completed a five-year Refreshing Downtown East project, which included the new nature-inspired D’Resort, an expanded Wild Wild Wet water park, as well as a slew of retail, dining and entertainment choices at Market Square.

Our other brands include Aranda Country Club, Orchid Country Club, and clubhouses across the island. Through our wholly-owned subsidiary, Quebec Leisure International, we produce and manage events for both members and the public.

We also lead the efforts of engaging communities of the Labour Movement - nEbO, the junior membership arm of NTUC; U Live, for active agers 55 years old and above; and U Sports, for sports enthusiasts.

Career growth needs some work, honestly
Pros: The team here is super supportive, which is a big plus as a Programme Executive. It's also pretty stable working in the leisure and recreation industry. We have decent benefits too.
Cons: Career growth is tough; there aren't many opportunities to move up. Promotions are really slow, and internal transfers for a Programme Executive role are rare in the Singapore office. You might feel stuck after a while.
Advice to Management: Create clearer paths for advancement, especially for roles like Programme Executive. Invest more in employee development and internal mobility programs.

Work-Life Balance is a Real Grind Sometimes
Pros: I've enjoyed the camaraderie with my team, and it's cool to see people have fun at events we plan. The company does offer solid benefits for a corporate environment in Singapore. There's a decent sense of stability too.
Cons: As an Events Executive, my work-life balance was often pretty tough. Expect lots of weekend work and late nights, especially when you're managing big events. It's hard to make personal plans when your schedule is so unpredictable in this hospitality industry.
Advice to Management: Please look into better staffing for major events to reduce the workload on individual Events Executives. More structured time off in lieu for weekend work would seriously help with employee burnout.
