Pros: I've mostly worked 40-hour weeks as a Software Engineer, which is great for the tech industry. Being fully remote from Portland, OR gives me a lot of flexibility, which really helps with personal stuff and managing my day.
Cons: Deadlines for new features in the messaging app can get intense, especially during big releases. It's not uncommon to put in extra hours then, and sometimes there's pressure to respond to messages after hours. This makes the work-life balance a bit unpredictable.
