Pay's okay, but benefits could be better
Pros: You get decent health insurance, which is a big plus here in Singapore. The team's cool and it's a fast-growing startup, so there's always interesting work for a Software Engineer.
Cons: The base salary isn't super competitive for this market, especially for tech roles. Don't expect huge bonuses or much stock options, which you'd see at bigger tech companies. It's a bit disappointing for an HR tech company.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate the compensation structure, especially base salaries and equity for early-stage employees. Attracting top tech talent in Singapore requires competitive pay and benefits, not just cool projects.
