Pros: The hybrid model is still a thing, which is good. You get 2 WFH days a week. For most Software Engineer roles, it allows some planning. The Austin, TX office is central.
Cons: They're pushing for more in-office days. It feels like flexibility is shrinking. Leadership isn't consistent with hybrid expectations. Remote work really isn't an option for our dev teams.
Advice to Management: Please define a clear, consistent hybrid policy. Don't backtrack on the WFH days. It really helps with employee morale and retention for tech roles.
