Pros: People are generally smart and collaborative when they want to be. As a Software Engineer, I found my team was supportive on most projects. There's a lot of knowledge sharing, which helps with professional development.
Cons: It can feel a bit cliquey in certain departments. Sometimes, you see folks avoid collaboration if it's not their pet project. For a big tech company, the internal communication could be better across teams.
Advice to Management: Try to break down silos between teams. Encourage more cross-functional collaboration. This would really help the company culture.
