Pros: They do have a hybrid model for this mid-sized corporate company, which is nice. You get a couple of days to work from home, which helps cut down on the Austin, TX commute. For some roles, like mine as a Data Analyst, there's a bit of wiggle room if you need to schedule appointments during the day.
Cons: The in-office requirements can feel pretty strict here. There's not much flexibility beyond the set hybrid schedule, even for tasks that could easily be done remotely for data roles. Management often pushes for more in-office days, making WFH options feel like a privilege, not a benefit you can count on. It's tough for maintaining a good work-life balance.
Advice to Management: Encourage true flexibility and trust employees more with their work arrangements. Don't just offer WFH options, make them genuinely accessible and supported, especially for data analysis teams.
