Pros: The annual bonus for Relationship Manager roles isn't terrible if you crush your targets. Medical benefits are decent for financial services in Singapore. You also get a pretty solid number of annual leave days.
Cons: Base salary for corporate banking here isn't competitive, honestly. Don't expect big increments unless you're a total rockstar. Dental coverage is super basic, just the bare minimum.
Advice to Management: Focus on bringing base salaries up to market rate, especially for key revenue-generating roles like Relationship Managers. Stronger dental and wellness benefits would also help with employee retention.

Pros: As a Relationship Manager, I've found some flexibility for personal appointments. It's okay if you need to pop out for a bit from the Singapore office. The banking sector can be rigid, so even this is a plus.
Cons: Don't expect much work-from-home though. Most roles are onsite, especially for Relationship Managers. It's a pretty traditional corporate environment, so WFH days are rare.
Advice to Management: Management should seriously consider more work-from-home options for non-client-facing tasks. It would really help with morale and retain talent.

Cons: The company culture can feel pretty old-school and hierarchical. There's not much push for new ideas from junior staff, which can be frustrating. Decision-making is often slow too.
Advice to Management: Try to encourage more open communication and new ideas from all levels, especially junior staff. Speed up decision-making processes to keep up.
