Okay for experience, pay could be better
Pros: As a Research Analyst, you get good exposure to central banking and financial policy. The work itself is interesting, and you learn a lot about macroeconomics. The London office has a decent vibe for a non-profit think tank.
Cons: The pay and benefit structure isn't great, especially for London living costs. Salaries for junior roles in financial policy research feel low, and annual raises are really small. Don't expect big bonuses here.
Advice to Management: Review salary bands for all staff, especially junior Research Analyst positions. It's tough to retain talent in London with the current compensation packages.
