Supportive Team in Fashion Retail!
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time as a Sales Associate in fashion retail here. The team is super supportive, which creates a friendly environment. I've gained solid customer service and visual merchandising skills. It's a stable place, and the managers are generally helpful. Great for learning the industry ropes onsite.
Cons: Career advancement can be slow without actively seeking it. Communication between shifts could definitely be smoother, sometimes leading to minor confusion. Just a minor point for improvement, not a big issue.
Advice to Management: Focus on enhancing cross-shift communication protocols to minimize misunderstandings. Also, implement clearer pathways for career development beyond entry-level roles to motivate ambitious employees.

Pretty chill team, but expect long hours
Pros: The people you work with are generally solid. We had a good team spirit in the Singapore office, which makes onsite work bearable. Employee discounts on their products are also a nice perk in the retail industry.
Cons: Work-life balance is tough, especially for Sales Advisor roles. It's often 6-day weeks during peak seasons, which really drains you. The culture can feel a bit cliquey sometimes with management.
Advice to Management: Try to implement better staffing models to reduce overtime for associates. Foster a more inclusive environment, less clique-ish, especially between floor staff and management.
