Work-Life Balance is Decent, Can Be Challenging
Pros: The team here is really supportive, which helps a lot when you're facing tight client deadlines. As a Financial Analyst, you get some flexibility with a hybrid work model in the Singapore office, which is a big plus.
Cons: Still, there's significant pressure during peak consulting project cycles. I've had weeks where my 40-hour schedule easily stretched to 55-60 hours, making true work-life balance tough.
Advice to Management: Management should be more mindful of workload distribution, especially for junior staff, to prevent burnout during critical project phases.

Decent Flexibility, But Deadlines Are King
Pros: They do offer hybrid work for Associate Consultant roles, which is a big plus in the financial services industry. It's nice to have those 2-3 WFH days to focus. You can arrange your schedule a bit if you get your client deliverables done.
Cons: However, 'flexibility' often means working late nights to hit tight deadlines, especially when client needs change last minute. There's not much wiggle room when a deal is closing, so expect long hours then. It's hard to truly disconnect from work.
Advice to Management: Management should clearly define boundaries for 'flexible' hours and ensure adequate staffing during peak client periods to prevent burnout. More predictable project timelines would really help.

Okay for junior roles, tougher to climb
Pros: It's a solid place to learn the ropes as a new consultant in Singapore. You get good exposure to different client projects, especially within the financial services industry. It's decent for foundational skills in a startup environment.
Cons: Career growth for mid-level consultants stalls a bit; there's often no super clear path forward. Internal promotions feel really slow sometimes. Mentorship isn't consistent, which makes skill development harder.
Advice to Management: Management should really work on defining clearer career progression paths for consultants, especially for those beyond the junior level. More structured mentorship programs would also help immensely with skill development and retention.
