Pros: I've learned so much as a Recruitment Consultant here. It's a fast-paced environment but definitely challenging in a good way, especially if you're keen on building a career in the Singapore talent acquisition sector. The team's really supportive, which helps a lot when you're working towards tough targets. There are plenty of opportunities for professional development and you get a lot of autonomy to manage your client portfolio. The commission structure is also quite motivating.
Cons: It can get really demanding sometimes, with long hours when deadlines are tight or you're pushing to hit those monthly targets. The workload can feel heavy, and while there's flexibility in how you manage your day, the sheer volume of tasks means you're often putting in extra effort. It's not always easy to balance personal life with the job's intensity, especially during peak seasons in the recruitment cycle.
Advice to Management: Focus on better workload distribution during peak periods to help prevent burnout. Streamlining some internal processes could also free up consultants to focus more on client and candidate engagement.
