Hybrid work is okay, but not truly flexible
Pros: You do get some hybrid work options here, which is decent for the recruitment industry. Being able to work a few days from home in the Singapore office was helpful. It's better than being fully onsite, that's for sure.
Cons: The "flexibility" often depends on client demands, which means you're still often pulled into the office. For a Recruitment Consultant, those long hours can really stack up, making true work-life balance tough. There's an expectation to be available a lot.
Advice to Management: Try to empower managers to offer more genuine flexibility, especially for experienced Recruitment Consultants who prove their results. Less reliance on face-time, more on output.

Okay culture, but high pressure for consultants
Pros: The team in the Singapore office is pretty tight-knit. You get decent support from colleagues, which is good for new recruitment consultants in the staffing industry. Plus, they offer a solid benefits package.
Cons: It's a very target-driven environment; the corporate culture can feel super competitive. Expect high pressure for permanent placement roles, especially around month-end. Your work-life balance will take a hit sometimes.
Advice to Management: Try to balance the sales targets with employee well-being. Burnout is real for recruitment consultants, even in a competitive staffing industry.

Decent for a first recruitment job
Pros: You get good training, especially if you're new to the recruitment field. I learned a lot about talent acquisition here in the Singapore office. The base salary is competitive for staffing roles.
Cons: Job security here really depends on hitting monthly targets. If the market slows, it can get stressful. There isn't much work flexibility, and the long hours make work-life balance tough.
Advice to Management: Consider adjusting targets more often when the overall market for recruitment roles dips. It would help ease some of the pressure on consultants.
