Company Reviews

Founded by Walter de Oude, the founder of Singapore Life (Singlife), Chocolate Finance is a happy place for your spare cash where you can enjoy 2% p.a. on your first S$20k, 1.8% p.a. on your next S$30k, and up to 1.8% p.a. on any amount thereafter.
No lock-in periods. No hoops or complex criteria. No minimum or maximum balance requirements. See your returns in the app every, single, day.
What’s more? Boost your savings with Chocolate’s USD account where you get to enjoy a happy 4.1% p.a return on your first US$20k, 3.8% p.a. on your next US$30k and up to 3.8% on any amounts above that. All with the same benefits of your SGD account.
What’s more? If we don't make the returns for your first S$50k + US$50k, the difference will be topped up during the Qualifying Period. Does it get any better than that?

Chocolate Finance is a brand under Chocfin Pte Ltd, regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (CMS101452) with a Capital Market Services license. We invest in a carefully selected portfolio of funds, optimising risk-adjusted returns by analysing factors like duration, yield, credit quality, and currency.
It only takes a few minutes to get started - download the app, sign up with your mobile OTP, and verify your identity via Singpass. Once you’ve added money, you’ll see your daily returns the very next day!

Leadership needs to step it up a bit
Pros: I liked the fast pace for a fintech startup. There's real opportunity to learn a lot as a Financial Analyst. The San Francisco office environment is pretty cool, and benefits are decent for a company this size.
Cons: Leadership often lacks clear direction, especially from the top. It feels like they're still figuring things out themselves, which makes daily work sometimes confusing. Communication could be way better.
Advice to Management: Focus on creating clear strategic goals and communicate them consistently to everyone. Help team leads support their direct reports better with clear project scopes and feedback.
