Good Start, Slow Career Growth
Pros: As an Inside Sales Representative, I learned a lot about fluid flow solutions and general industrial distribution. The team in the Anaheim, CA office was pretty supportive, and it's a solid place to get some experience when you're starting out.
Cons: Career progression here is really slow. There aren't many opportunities to move up the ladder unless someone retires or leaves, which doesn't happen often in this small corporate company. It can feel like you're stuck in your current role.
Advice to Management: Invest more in formal career development programs. Create clear paths for employees to advance beyond entry-level roles instead of just waiting for an open position to appear.

Okay for Work-Life, Not Much Flexibility
Pros: As an Inside Sales Representative in the Anaheim, CA office, I usually clocked a solid 40 hours a week. The routine for these sales roles was predictable, which made planning personal life easier. You knew your day was going to end on time.
Cons: Work flexibility is almost non-existent; remote or hybrid options aren't a thing here. If you need to step out, it feels like a big ask, which makes managing personal appointments tough. For a corporate environment, I wish there was more understanding about needing some wiggle room.
Advice to Management: Consider offering more flexible work options, especially for long-term employees. It would really help with retention and overall morale.

Okay Compensation, Benefits Need a Boost
Pros: As an Inside Sales Representative, the base salary was decent for the Irvine, CA market. The sales commission structure was clear, so you knew what to expect. Health insurance did kick in pretty quickly.
Cons: Annual raises were usually pretty small, often barely covering inflation. The cost for family health benefits felt really high. Our 401k match wasn't very competitive compared to other companies in the fluid control systems industry.
Advice to Management: Look into making the 401k match more competitive and review the employee contributions for health insurance. Better pay raises would also really help with retention.
