Solid Job in the Security Industry
Pros: Job security here is pretty good, especially as a Security Guard. They're a large corporate company, so there's always work. I felt stable in my onsite role at the São Paulo office.
Cons: Growth can feel slow, not many advancement options for field staff. Sometimes the shifts are long, affecting work-life balance a bit. Pay raises aren't super frequent for security personnel.
Advice to Management: Consider clearer paths for career advancement for Security Guard roles. More regular pay reviews would also help morale.

Pay is okay, but benefits need work
Pros: As a Security Guard in their São Paulo office, the base salary is just decent. I do get paid overtime, which helps a lot with making ends meet in the security industry. The basic health plan isn't bad for an established company.
Cons: The pay raises are pretty slow, it's tough to get ahead financially here. The health plan has high deductibles, and dental coverage is just basic. For roles like mine, I wish the pay for dangerous cash transport duties was higher.
Advice to Management: Consider reviewing the base salaries for security personnel and improving the health and dental benefit packages. It'd really help with retention in the cash transport division.

Grupo Protege: Culture is a Mixed Bag
Pros: The camaraderie among security professionals, especially on the onsite teams, is pretty strong. There's good initial training for new recruits learning about segurança patrimonial in the São Paulo area.
Cons: Leadership feels pretty disconnected from us doing the actual security work. It's a big corporate firm, so things move slow, and there's not much recognition for people on tough shift work.
Advice to Management: Try to bridge the gap between leadership and frontline security staff. More recognition and clear communication would really help boost morale across the teams.
