Pros: I liked the team in the Detroit office; everyone was pretty supportive. The hybrid work model helped sometimes, letting me work remotely a couple days a week. We had decent PTO, which was a plus for scheduling breaks.
Cons: As a Technical Recruiter, the pressure to hit numbers means long hours are common. It's tough to really disconnect, even with the hybrid setup. There's a lot of expectation to be 'always on' for client calls.
Advice to Management: Try to set clearer boundaries for after-hours communication. Encourage managers to really support employees taking their time off without guilt, especially for staffing roles.
