Solid Place for Talent Acquisition
Pros: As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, I've found the culture very collaborative and supportive. My colleagues are great, and there are good opportunities to learn about the recruitment industry. I appreciate the hybrid work model, which helps a lot with work-life balance.
Cons: Career progression feels a bit slow sometimes, and the promotion path isn't always clear. Also, while base pay is decent, the overall benefits package could be more competitive, especially for our location.
Advice to Management: Focus on clarifying career paths and review the benefits package to ensure it's truly competitive to retain talent.

Good Benefits, Base Pay Could Be Stronger
Pros: The health insurance is pretty solid, which is a big plus when you're working remote from Denver, CO. They also offer a decent 401k match, which isn't always a given in the recruiting industry. It's a fine benefits package overall for a growing firm.
Cons: Base salaries for a Recruitment Specialist can feel a bit low, often around the $60k-$70k mark. It means you really have to hit your commission targets to make good money, which isn't always predictable in talent acquisition. I've seen better base pay for similar roles elsewhere.
Advice to Management: Consider increasing base salaries for key talent acquisition roles to attract and retain top performers without solely relying on commission. This would improve overall job satisfaction and reduce turnover.

Good Flexibility, but the Workload is Real
Pros: The hybrid model is a big plus. I can work remotely a few days, which saves on the Austin, TX commute. There's solid trust for remote work. As a Technical Recruiter, I appreciate setting my own candidate sourcing schedule.
Cons: While remote, the hours can get long. You're expected to be available for hiring managers in different time zones. Sometimes, the 'flexibility' just means you're always on call. It's tough to truly disconnect in this talent acquisition role.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into better workload distribution. The hybrid model is great, but it can make it harder for Technical Recruiter roles to maintain a true work-life balance when the expectations are so high.
