Company Reviews

Nrutseab is an entertainment studio and lifestyle-tech brand pioneering emotionally intelligent experiences and sensorial systems that redefine how people live, move, and connect.

As a hybrid creative studio and venture builder, we operate at the intersection of entertainment IP, smart-home technology, and immersive hospitality—designing cultural experiences, digital products, and branded environments that resonate emotionally and scale globally.

We integrate research, engineering, and storytelling to drive innovation—our first lifestyle-tech patent has been filed, with more in development through our in-house R&D labs.

Good Learning Culture for Tech Professionals
Pros: I've been a Software Engineer here for a while and I really appreciate the focus on continuous learning and development. The engineering teams are super collaborative, and I've picked up a lot of new skills in modern frameworks and cloud platforms. There's good work flexibility, which helps a lot with my personal life and maintaining a healthy work-life balance. It's a stable company in the software development industry, so I feel pretty secure in my role, which is a big plus.
Cons: Sometimes the promotion process can feel a bit slow, especially when aiming for more senior Software Engineer roles. Also, we do have to deal with some older legacy systems alongside the newer projects, which can be a drag sometimes but is generally manageable.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining the promotion process to better recognize and reward high-performing individuals more quickly. Continue to invest in modernizing existing systems to improve efficiency across the development teams.

Work-Life Balance is Decent, But Could Be Better
Pros: For a Software Engineer here, the hybrid work model is a definite plus. You get solid WFH flexibility a couple of days a week, which really helps with personal appointments and commuting in San Francisco.
Cons: It's tough to consistently hit a 40-hour week, especially when project deadlines loom. Working in big tech, there's always pressure, and sometimes you just have to log extra hours from home.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project scope and deadlines to prevent burnout. More predictable hours would improve morale for individual contributors.
