Pros: For an IT services company, they do offer decent WFH options. As a Software Engineer, I appreciated the flexibility to start a bit later some days, especially if I had late calls the night before. This hybrid model helps with my commute in Pune.
Cons: The actual work flexibility often depends heavily on your specific project and manager. Some projects demand strict onsite presence even if the work could be done remotely. Also, for a global IT company, late night client calls can really mess up your personal schedule despite the WFH.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize remote work policies across all projects, not just leave it up to individual managers. Managers should also be more aware of work-life balance impacts from global client calls for technical roles.
