Work-life balance can be tough in design.
Pros: You learn a ton working on big corporate design projects. The team in the Bengaluru office is solid and supportive, which helps a lot when things get crazy. We sometimes get hybrid model flexibility.
Cons: Expect long hours, especially nearing project deadlines. It's tough as an Interior Designer to stick to 40-hour weeks consistently. Weekend work happens more often than I'd like.
Advice to Management: Try to manage client expectations better so design teams aren't always crunched. More resources for project support would help ease the load.

Decent Start, Slow Career Climb for Designers
Pros: As an Interior Designer here, I learned a lot initially, especially about different project phases and client communication. The exposure to various corporate interior design projects in the Bengaluru office was a solid plus for early-career folks. It's a good place to get your feet wet in the interior design industry.
Cons: My biggest issue was the lack of clear career growth opportunities after the first couple of years. It felt like there wasn't a defined path to move up, even for experienced designers. Getting more complex or leadership roles felt really tough to achieve in this mid-sized firm.
Advice to Management: Management should really work on creating clearer career paths and promotion criteria for designers. Invest in training and mentorship programs to help employees see a future here. More challenging design projects need to be distributed fairly.
