Pros: Good for learning the ropes in information security. They put you through some decent training programs, especially if you're fresh out of uni. As a Cybersecurity Analyst, you get exposure to different security tools. Solid benefits package; the health insurance was pretty good.
Cons: Career growth isn't always clear here. Getting promoted can take ages, and there's not a lot of upward mobility for mid-level cybersecurity professionals. It's tough to move past a certain point without changing teams. Work-life balance can get a bit skewed during project deadlines.
Advice to Management: Management should create clearer pathways for career progression for employees, especially for experienced cybersecurity professionals. Invest more in internal mentorship programs and define what it takes to get to the next level.
