Decent place for recruitment, but growth is slow.
Pros: The base pay is good for a Recruitment Consultant. You learn a ton about the executive search industry pretty quickly here. The team culture in the Singapore office is quite collaborative and supportive.
Cons: Career growth is really slow; promotion paths aren't very clear at all. It's tough to move up unless you're a consistent top biller. There isn't much formal training for stepping into more senior roles.
Advice to Management: Implement clearer promotion paths and offer more structured development programs. That would really help with retention and motivation for your recruitment consultants.

Okay stability, but expect ups and downs
Pros: The firm has a solid reputation in the executive search industry, particularly across Asia. This helps when the market is good, bringing in consistent mandates and making you feel secure.
Cons: Job security can feel a bit shaky during slower economic periods, which is typical for the recruitment industry. As a Senior Recruitment Consultant, you're constantly pushed to hit tough targets, adding a layer of performance pressure.
Advice to Management: Focus on retaining good consultants, even when the market slows down. More structured support during lean times could really boost morale and long-term commitment.

Okay for starting, tough for real growth
Pros: You learn a lot about the recruitment industry pretty quickly. The exposure to different client needs in the Singapore market is good for junior consultants. There's a solid training program initially if you're new to headhunting.
Cons: As a Recruitment Consultant, I felt pretty pigeonholed after a while. There aren't many clear paths to move up unless someone leaves, and internal promotions are rare. Career progression for mid-level roles felt stalled, and there wasn't much investment in ongoing professional development.
Advice to Management: Seriously look at creating clearer promotion frameworks and invest in skill development for existing employees. It's tough to retain good talent when they don't see a future beyond their current desk.
