Pay is okay, but benefits are pretty standard
Pros: I've been a Technical Support Analyst here for a couple of years now. The health insurance is decent, and there's a good pension match which is a plus. They do offer a hybrid work model, so I split my time between the London office and remote from home.
Cons: Base pay feels a bit low for the FinTech industry, especially compared to bigger companies. Salary reviews aren't very transparent, and I haven't seen a significant bump since starting. There aren't many unique perks beyond the basics either.
Advice to Management: Be more competitive with base salaries for Technical Support Analyst roles in London. More transparency on compensation packages would go a long way.

Decent Work-Life for Software Engineers
Pros: Working as a Software Engineer here, the core hours are pretty standard, usually 9-5, which is nice. The team in the London office is generally respectful of personal time. Hybrid work means I don't commute every day, offering some flexibility.
Cons: Sometimes projects have tight deadlines, and I've had to put in extra hours for client deliverables. It's not always easy to truly disconnect, especially with some global teams, and the on-call rotation for IT operations monitoring can be a bit disruptive.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize project timelines better to avoid last-minute crunches. Also, review the on-call burden for IT operations staff to improve work-life balance for those roles.

Decent work-life balance for tech roles.
Pros: Work-life balance here is generally good if you're proactive. As a Software Engineer in the London office, I mostly stuck to 40-hour weeks. The hybrid model helps a lot with personal commitments.
Cons: Sometimes deadlines for financial services tech projects can be tight. This leads to occasional late evenings, especially closer to release dates. It's not constant, but it does happen.
Advice to Management: Keep promoting consistent workloads across all teams. It would help avoid those crunch times for specific financial services tech projects.
