Pros: My team was pretty supportive, which made daily tasks much easier. There's a decent sense of camaraderie among the junior staff, especially within retail banking operations. It felt like a stable corporate environment in many ways.
Cons: The company culture is very top-down. Innovation isn't really encouraged, which can be tough if you're looking to grow beyond a standard track. There's also too much red tape for Relationship Manager roles in the Hong Kong office, making processes slow.
Advice to Management: Try to encourage more bottom-up ideas and really listen to what your staff are saying about modernization. Streamline some of the older processes. A better work-life balance would help a lot with employee morale.
