Pros: For us Hotel Operations Coordinator roles, the team really pulls together when things get hectic in the Hong Kong office. You can usually manage your 40 hours during slower periods, which is okay.
Cons: The biggest struggle is the on-call schedule in the hospitality industry. Weekends aren't always your own, and that really cuts into personal time, making a true work-life balance tough.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage weekend and on-call schedules for operational staff. More predictable shifts would make a huge difference for work-life balance.
