Pros: You get good exposure to the IT distribution market. The team in the Hong Kong office is generally supportive when you need help with client issues. We do get some holidays off, which is a small relief.
Cons: As a Sales Executive, the work-life balance is pretty bad. You're constantly chasing quotas, and it's expected to be reachable after hours for hardware sales inquiries. Don't expect regular 9-to-5s.
Advice to Management: Managers need to rethink the sales targets and expectations for after-hours work. People are burning out. Give us more support or better tools to manage client requests during office hours to improve overall well-being.
