Decent Pay, Good Benefits for a Recruiter
Pros: The commission structure for a Recruiter in this mid-sized firm is pretty generous once you start hitting targets. I've seen good payouts, and the health insurance package is actually quite solid, covering most essentials.
Cons: The base salary isn't super high, especially starting out. There aren't many extra perks like a 401k match or wellness stipends, which you don't see here compared to bigger tech companies.
Advice to Management: Consider increasing the base pay for Recruiters, especially junior ones. Also, adding some basic 401k matching would make a huge difference in retention.

Tough to really grow as a recruiter here
Pros: The team in the Dallas, TX office is solid; everyone helps out. You'll learn a lot about the staffing industry and building client relationships if you're new. It's a decent place to get some entry-level experience in recruitment.
Cons: Is career growth good here for a Recruiting Consultant? Honestly, not much. There's very limited upward mobility unless someone leaves. The commission structure often pushes high target goals, making it hard to advance quickly.
Advice to Management: Create clearer paths for advancement for existing Recruiting Consultant roles. Offer more internal training for leadership and specialized positions.

Culture is fast-paced, sometimes tough here
Pros: The team in the Hong Kong office is generally pretty supportive, especially for new Recruitment Consultant roles. You learn a lot about the headhunting industry really fast. It's a solid place to gain experience in financial services recruitment.
Cons: The company culture can be super intense. There's a lot of pressure to hit sales targets, which often means long hours onsite. It's a very competitive environment, so sometimes it feels like everyone's just for themselves. Work-life balance here isn't great.
Advice to Management: Try to ease up on the constant pressure for sales targets. More focus on team collaboration and less on individual competition could really boost morale for Recruitment Consultant teams. It would help improve overall job satisfaction.
