Pros: The team is genuinely supportive, which makes the daily grind much better. As a Junior Consultant, you do get decent exposure to a variety of client projects within the professional services industry. They also offer some pretty solid internal training modules.
Cons: Career progression for junior consulting roles is incredibly slow. There's no clear path or timeline, and it felt like I was stuck with no end in sight. Getting promoted takes forever, which really hurts motivation for ambitious folks.
Advice to Management: Management seriously needs to create clearer career paths and set realistic promotion criteria for Junior Consultants. It would help retain talent and keep people from constantly looking for other opportunities outside the firm.
