Pros: The actual work as a Curriculum Developer is pretty engaging, and it's rewarding to see students learn. There's a decent team vibe among the teacher roles, and my direct colleagues are great.
Cons: Leadership is pretty inconsistent. You often get a lot of micromanagement after periods of no direction at all. Communication from upper management in this education sector feels really disconnected from our daily onsite learning activities.
Advice to Management: Try to provide more consistent direction and trust your team leads to manage their teams. The constant shifts in strategy make it hard for staff, especially in critical education sector roles, to do their best work.
