Junior Data Analyst

Pay is just okay for IT in Jakarta
Pros: You get decent health insurance, which is a solid perk. For a mid-sized IT company in Jakarta, the base salary for a Junior Data Analyst is okay, not amazing but not terrible either.
Cons: Don't expect big bonuses or quick promotions here. Pay raises aren't frequent and they're usually pretty small. It's tough for a data analytics professional to feel truly competitive with the compensation package.
Advice to Management: Focus on making pay scales more competitive. Regularly review market rates for roles like Junior Data Analyst to retain talent. Consider implementing a clearer bonus structure.

Solid place for entry-level tech, but growth is slow
Pros: Job security feels pretty good here, especially for junior software developers. We have stable client projects in the IT services industry. The Jakarta office has a decent vibe and you don't feel constantly under threat of layoffs.
Cons: Career progression can be super slow. There aren't many clear paths to move up from an entry-level role. Sometimes, project scope changes quickly, which means late nights to meet deadlines, impacting work-life balance.
Advice to Management: Management should really work on defining clear career paths for developers. Invest in more training and mentorship programs to help people grow beyond entry-level positions.

Pretty good team, needs clearer direction
Pros: I liked my team a lot here as a data analyst. Everyone was pretty supportive, especially for new hires in the IT industry. The Jakarta office had a decent vibe, not too corporate.
Cons: Communication from upper management can be tough. Projects often change scope last minute, which creates stress. It's a hybrid work setup, but sometimes remote folks feel out of the loop.
Advice to Management: Try to improve project planning and communication. Make sure remote employees feel as included as those in the office during our hybrid work arrangement.
