Okay for learning, tough for real career growth
Pros: You learn a ton, fast. As a Software Engineer, I got to work on lots of different parts of the platform, dealing with micro-SME needs. It's a fast-paced environment and you get real ownership.
Cons: There isn't a clear path for promotions or moving up, especially in the Jakarta office. It feels like you hit a ceiling pretty quickly. It's hard to see what you need to do to grow your career here.
Advice to Management: Please make career progression clearer. Employees want to know how they can grow, especially for individual contributor roles. It'd really help with retention.

Good for learning, but watch job security
Pros: I learned a ton as a Product Manager here. The team working on our SME solutions was super smart and driven, always tackling interesting problems. Plus, being able to work remotely from Indonesia offered great flexibility.
Cons: Job security isn't great, honestly. In this fintech startup environment, there's a constant feeling that things could change quickly. Layoffs can happen unexpectedly, making it tough to feel truly stable.
Advice to Management: Try to communicate more transparently about company performance and future plans. It would really help ease employee anxieties about job stability and make people feel more secure.

Hybrid model has its perks and drawbacks
Pros: I really liked the hybrid work setup. As a Software Engineer, I could work remotely from Jakarta most days, which helped a lot with my commute. There's good autonomy in how you manage your day for engineering tasks.
Cons: The 'flexibility' sometimes means you're still expected to be available for meetings outside typical hours, especially with different time zones. It's tough when some teams aren't fully set up for asynchronous communication in this startup environment.
Advice to Management: Try to standardize asynchronous communication practices more across all teams to truly support the hybrid model and reduce late-night meetings.
