Pros: Wesco offers a stable environment in electrical distribution. The benefits package, especially health and retirement, is comprehensive. As a Sales Representative, I appreciate the job security and supportive colleagues. Good learning opportunities exist for career development, fostering a positive team culture.
Cons: Promotions can be slow. Internal approval processes are a bit cumbersome. Modernizing sales tools would improve field efficiency for reps.
Advice to Management: Streamline the promotion process and invest in modernizing sales technology to support field representatives more effectively.

Pros: I've been an Account Manager here for a few years, and it's been a really stable environment in the electrical distribution industry. My colleagues are super supportive, and there are good opportunities to learn about different products. The work flexibility is a huge plus, especially for someone in sales; I can manage my schedule well and balance work with personal life. It's a great spot if you value a consistent company.
Cons: Sometimes, the internal approval processes can feel a bit slow, especially when we're trying to close a deal quickly. Also, while there are learning opportunities, career advancement isn't always super fast. You really have to advocate for yourself and show initiative for promotions.
Advice to Management: Streamline some of the internal approval workflows to help teams respond faster to client needs. Continue to invest in career pathing and growth opportunities for employees.

Cons: However, career growth, especially promotions, can feel slow, and some internal approval processes are a bit outdated, which can sometimes impact project timelines. It's mostly positive, though.
