Pros: The team is really collaborative, which is nice. I learned a lot about integrating AI into industrial applications. WFH flexibility for software engineers in Chicago was pretty good, maybe 2-3 days a week.
Cons: Sometimes projects felt rushed, leading to long weeks, especially during release cycles for our predictive maintenance software. It's not a 40-hour week consistently, you'll put in extra time when things get tight.
Advice to Management: Try to manage project scopes better. It'd really help prevent burnout for the engineering teams.

Cons: The biggest con is the lack of consistent remote work policies across teams; some get more flexibility than others. For some of our industrial IoT projects, you're expected to be onsite more often, which limits true work flexibility.
Advice to Management: Standardize the hybrid and remote work policies across all engineering and data science teams. It would help a lot with morale if flexibility was more predictable for everyone, not just a few lucky teams.
