Decent Work-Life, But Production Demands Are Real
Pros: I gotta say, the standard 40-hour week is mostly respected here for manufacturing engineers. You don't usually take work home. It's nice not being constantly overwhelmed, which is a big deal in the manufacturing sector.
Cons: However, during peak seasons or when an assembly line has issues, expect some longer days. The pressure to hit production targets can really cut into your personal time. Sometimes the onsite shifts feel never-ending.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage peak demand periods to avoid burnout for your production teams. More consistent staffing or better planning could really help maintain work-life balance. Show more
