Hybrid Model is Okay, Needs Some Work
Pros: They do offer a hybrid model, usually 2-3 WFH days a week if your role allows. It's nice to avoid the Petaling Jaya traffic sometimes. This is decent for many corporate roles in the Petaling Jaya office.
Cons: For us in Sales, especially as a Sales Manager, real flexibility is limited. You're often expected to be out meeting clients. It's hard to truly use the WFH days when client visits are a priority in this fast-paced industry.
Advice to Management: Try to make the hybrid policy more equitable across all departments. Sales roles in the FMCG industry could use more trust to manage their own schedules, not just mandates.
