Mercury Pharmacy opened its first retail pharmacy at Mentakab, Pahang in the year 1985. After more than 35 years of serving the community, Mercury now has a fleet of 20 retail Pharmacies across Pahang, Kelantan, Terengganu and Penang, and close to 200 colleagues.

Pros: Some of the immediate supervisors are pretty good, especially if you're new as a Pharmacy Technician. They try to support you through the daily patient care rush. The initial training for new hires is solid, making it easier to jump into onsite work.
Cons: Higher-level leadership seems out of touch with what it's like in a busy retail pharmacy. There's often inconsistent communication, and a lot of good team leads burn out quickly. It feels like they don't really listen to feedback from the floor in Houston, TX.
Advice to Management: Focus on developing stronger, more consistent leadership training programs. Listen to your frontline Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists more. Recognize the grind of retail pharmacy and support your teams better.
