Decent Flexibility for Engineers, But Room to Grow

Pros: The hybrid work model is a definite plus here. As a Software Engineer, I've appreciated the ability to work from home a couple of days a week. It helps a lot with my commute in the Kuala Lumpur office traffic, which is a real time-saver.
Cons: While there are WFH days, sometimes it feels like flexibility is team-dependent. Project deadlines can make it tough to fully utilize the hybrid model, especially in the software development industry. There isn't much flexibility for adjusting core hours, which can be a pain.
Advice to Management: Standardize hybrid work policies across all software development teams. Also, consider giving employees more control over their daily start/end times within reasonable bounds. Show more
